In the exam room, Dr. Wyatt or Dr. Rob Neuenschwander, DC will ask detailed questions about what brought you in and go over your health history. From there, the doctor explains how everything is connected and how your plan of care will work, so you understand the reasoning before anything else happens. If X-rays are needed to rule out fractures or confirm what is going on, they are taken in-office. Once the doctor has a clear picture, most new patients receive their first adjustment during that same visit.

Bring a photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, and a list of any medications you are currently taking. If you have recent imaging or records related to your injury, such as X-rays or an MRI from another provider, copies help the doctor build your plan without duplicating work. Comfortable clothing is a good idea since parts of the exam may involve movement testing.
