Can I get spinal decompression near Magnolia, TX?
Yes. Neu Life Chiropractic offers spinal decompression at our office in Tomball. We do not have an office in Magnolia, so Magnolia patients come to us at 28105 Tomball Parkway #106A.
It may help if you have disc pain, sciatica, numbness, tingling or stenosis. It is not right for everyone. Dr. Rob Neuenschwander checks your spine and takes X-rays first. Then he tells you if it fits you.
What is spinal decompression?
Spinal decompression is a slow, gentle stretch of the spine on a special table. The goal is to take pressure off your discs and the nerves near them. There is no surgery and there are no needles. You stay fully dressed.
Our table is the Back on Trac by Ergo-Flex. It can also bend gently to the side. Dr. Rob sets it for your body and your exam results.
Who is spinal decompression for?
These are the problems Dr. Rob checks for. Your exam decides if decompression is a fit.
Bulging and herniated discs
A disc that bulges or slips out can press on a nerve. Decompression aims to take some of that pressure off.
Sciatica
Pain that runs from the low back down the leg is often a nerve under pressure. Dr. Rob checks where it starts. Read about sciatica treatment.
Numbness and tingling
Pins and needles in a leg or foot can come from a pinched nerve in the low back.
Spinal stenosis
Stenosis means the space around the nerves has narrowed. The exam and X-rays show if decompression fits you.
Radiculopathy
This is the medical word for a pinched nerve root. It can cause pain, weakness or numbness along the nerve.
How do my first two visits work?
Visit 1: You fill out your paperwork. Dr. Rob talks with you one on one and does an exam. We take digital X-rays of your spine in our office.
Visit 2: Dr. Rob walks you through your X-rays and exam results. He tells you what he found and what he recommends. If you choose to start care, you get your first treatment and your plan.
We use two visits so we find the cause first, then treat it.
What does it cost to start?
As of October 2026, new patients can ask about our $65 new patient special. Our team will tell you what it covers when you book. We are out of network, so you pay us at the visit. Our services are eligible for insurance reimbursement, so you can ask your plan about paying you back.

"I would recommend them to anyone that lives in the Tomball Magnolia and surrounding areas."
When should I go to the ER instead?
Go to the emergency room first if you suddenly lose control of your bladder or bowels. Go if you have numbness in your groin or inner thighs. Go if your leg gets weak fast. These signs need care right away.
