Can I get knee decompression in Tomball, TX?
Yes. Neu Life Chiropractic offers knee decompression at our office in Tomball. It is a gentle, non-surgical way to ease pressure on the knee joint. There are no needles and no surgery.
It is not right for every knee. Dr. Rob Neuenschwander examines you first and tells you if you are a candidate. If your knee needs an orthopedic doctor instead, he will tell you that.
What are the signs your knee may need help?
Many people notice an ache or stiffness in the knee that is worse with stairs, long walks or getting up from a chair. Some feel pressure, clicking or a knee that feels tired and heavy. Some have pain that began after an old injury and never went away.
Knee pain does not always start in the knee. The low back and hip can send pain down the leg. That is why Dr. Rob looks at the whole leg and your low back, not only the knee.
What is knee decompression?
Decompression means easing pressure. For the knee, the goal is to give the joint a little more room. It is a gentle, non-surgical approach, and you do not need to prepare for it.
Dr. Rob decides what is right for your knee after your exam. We do not promise a result. Many patients want to try a non-surgical option first, and that is a fair place to start.
What does Dr. Rob check for?
Your exam decides your plan. These are the things he looks at:
Where the pain starts
He checks if the pain starts in the knee or comes from the hip or low back.
How the joint moves
He looks at how your knee bends, straightens and takes your weight.
Past injuries
Old sports injuries, falls and twists can leave a knee sore for years.
Your daily life
He asks what hurts most, like stairs, kneeling, walking or sleep, so your plan fits your day.
How do my first two visits work?
Visit 1: You fill out your paperwork. Dr. Rob talks with you one on one and does an exam. If Dr. Rob thinks you need them, we take digital X-rays in our office.
Visit 2: Dr. Rob walks you through your X-rays and exam results. He tells you what he found and what he recommends. If you choose to start care, you get your first treatment and your plan.
We use two visits so we find the cause first, then treat it.
What does it cost to start?
As of October 2026, new patients can ask about our $65 new patient offer. Our team will tell you what it covers when you book. We are out of network, so you pay us at the visit. Our services are eligible for insurance reimbursement, so you can ask your plan about paying you back.
